john mcdonald, chief operating officer
John was named Chief Operating Officer in November 2019. During his 29 years of service at Kelsch Associates, John has had the distinct opportunity to work in all aspects of the Residential and Day Programming Services and Fiscal Departments.
John possesses Bachelor and Masters Degrees from Thomas Edison State University, with a concentration in Management and Finance. While his primary career interest has been in Finance, having worked directly with individuals and eventually supervising program staff continues to provide both a personal and professional foundation. John’s belief is that everyone in the Agency has a significant role in supporting the individuals we serve, continually reinforcing our individuals truly benefit and grow when all staff and the individuals themselves contribute to a process. |
jack kelsch, President and Chief executive officer
Jack Kelsch is co-founder and the President of Kelsch Associates, Inc. NJ., which provides Residential and Day Program services for individuals with Developmental Disabilities in southern New Jersey. In his role as President, Jack ensures that the company’s vision, to provide excellent service, is executed flawlessly.
Jack received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Scranton and completed his Master’s Degree at West Chester University. Using his experience as a direct care staff in the 1970's, Jack worked closely with his older brother, Jim Kelsch to establish a residential service agency in Pennsylvania in 1977. In August 1980, Kelsch Associates, Inc. NJ opened with a mission to provide exceptional, residential care in a field that had previously been dominated by institutions. Continuously striving for excellence, Jack remains a passionate defender of the rights of all individuals with Developmental Disabilities and works closely with his staff to ensure the highest standards are maintained company-wide. Aside from Kelsch Associates, Inc. NJ, Jack is an active father and adores his 11 grandchildren, who call him Poppy. Jack believes in giving back to the community and focuses his philanthropic attention on his hometown of Carbondale, Pennsylvania where he supports the local YMCA and youth recreation programs. |
